Magick and Witchcraft

Posted on July 31, 2007

Magick is another very broad area and goes by many names. Magick is about creating change in the world as a result of your will. Ethically used, it is a great tool for personal change as well as assistance with life.

This course in magick aims to provide a solid and safe foundation for people’s own explorations of this topic. We look at a range of magickal traditions and cover the core techniques.

A strong emphasis is placed on clearing the superstition and concentrating on getting practical and real results, quickly and effectively. To do this an eclectic approach is taken, which also exposes participants to a wide range of ideas and traditions, from which you can choose for future development.

Topics covered include:

  • What it is
  • How does it work
  • Forms of Magick
  • Ethics
  • Candlemagick
  • Knot magic
  • Sigils
  • Incense
  • Oils
  • Powders
  • Trees and the natural world
  • Cybermagick
  • Beings and other dimensions

One caution must be made: there are certain people who should not do meditation except with certain provisions in place. People suffering from or prone to schizophrenia must not do any trance work without the approval of their psychiatrist. Likewise people taking certain drugs should not participate in meditation until they have been off the particular drugs for some time and have detoxified. It is for these reasons that we interview applicants for our meditation, channeling and magick courses to not only cover these issues but to ensure that a safe, happy and harmonious group results.

Homework will be set each class.
